Arlene Blencowe is a mixed martial artist and boxer, currently competing in the Women’s Featherweight division of Bellator MMA, where she is the first Australian female fighter in the promotion’s history.

Arlene Blencowe was born on April 11, 1983, in New South Wales, Australia. She started practicing boxing at an early age. She began her boxing career in 2012 in her native Australia. Arlene Blencowe has world championships in World Boxing Federation and Women’s International Boxing Association. She has a current record of 4 wins and 4 losses.

Arlene Blencowe, also known as Angelfist, made her professional MMA debut on April 13, 2013. She fought versus Kyra Purcell at FightWorld Cup 14, losing by armbar submission in the second round. The same year, she had three more fights – winning versus Kerry Barrett at Brace For War 20 (by split decision), losing by Jessica-Rose Clark at Nitro MMA 9 (by rear-naked choke submission), losing by Mae-Lin Leow at MMA Down Under 4 (by TKO). The same year, she also took part at the Storm Damage 3 event, where lost by Kate Da Silva by rear-naked choke submission and Faith McMah by split decision, and won versus Maryanne Mullahy by unanimous decision.

In 2014, Arlene Blencowe won versus Kenani Mangakahia at FightWorld Cup 17 (by triangle choke submission) and Faith McMah at Storm Damage 5 event (by KO). After the great success and the skills she showed, she signed with Bellator.

On May 15, 2015, Arlene Blencowe made her Bellator debut at Bellator 137 – Halsey vs. Grove. She faced Adrienna Jenkins and won by TKO. The same year she had two more fights – losing from Marloes Coenen at Bellator 141 (by armbar submission) and winning versus Gabrielle Holloway at Bellator 146 (by split decision).

After almost a year out of the Octagon, Arlene Blencowe returned on October 21, 2016, when she lost from Julia Budd at Bellator 162 by majority decision.

In 2017, Arlene Blencowe made four professional MMA fights. On January 28, she won versus Janay Harding at Sledgehammer Promotions – Legend MMA 1 by KO in Round 1. In April 2017, she won versus Rhiannon Thompson at Australian Fighting Championship 19 by TKO. On August 25, Arlene Blencowe took part at Bellator 182 event, winning the fight versus Sinead Kavanagh by split decision. On December 1, however, she registered a loss from Julia Budd at Bellator 189 by split decision.

In 2018, Arlene Blencowe won her fight versus Amber Leibrock at Bellator 206 by TKO.

In 2019, she registered two wins – versus Amanda Bell at Bellator 224 (by TKO) and Leslie Smith at Bellator 233 (by unanimous decision), as well as one loss – from Cristiane Justino at Bellator 249 (by rear-naked choke submission).

Arlene Blencowe has a personal MMA record of 13-8-0 (W-L-D).
