Charisa Sigala is a professional MMA fighter out of California, who is ranked No 28 in the US West Women’s Pound for Pound. She is a BJJ Black Belt at Gracie Barra Chino and has a personal MMA record of 4-2-0 (W-L-D).
Charisa Sigala was born on March 25, 1984, in California, USA. She started practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Boxing, before turning to MMA.
Charisa Sigala was her professional MMA debut on November 28, 2015, at Gladiator Challenge – Season’s Beatings. She fought against Andrea Coleman and won by submission in Round 2. On April 16, 2016, Charisa Sigala registered her second professional win versus Faye Shields at Gladiator Challenge – Wrecking Crew by armbar submission in Round 1.
In 2016, Charisa Sigala had two more wins versus Lanikqua Robins at Gladiator Challenge – American Pride (by armbar submission in Round 1) and versus Lanikqua Robins at Gladiator Challenge – Unleashed (by TKO in Round 1).
Following the brilliant start of her career, she had a break for almost 3 years, before returning to the cage at Combate Americas: Stockton in May 2019. She fought versus Irene Cabello Rivera, but lost by split decision. On February 28, 2020, she took part at Combate Americas – Mexico vs. USA, fighting versus Stephanie Frausto, but lost by TKO in Round 2.
In 2021, Charisa Sigala took part in one of the most bloody boxing fights of the year. She took part in the Knucklemania event, fighting against Taylor Starling. Unfortunately, she lost via unanimous decision. We are all waiting to see her back in the MMA and desperately expecting her next fight.
