Felicia Spencer is a Canadian mixed martial artist (MMA) and the former Invicta FC Featherweight champion. She is currently competing in the Featherweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
Felicia Spencer was born on November 20, 1990, in Montreal, Quebec. She started training Taekwondo at the age of 4 and later, at 12 years old, started training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and added kickboxing. Felicia Spencer is a Black belt in Taekwondo and a Black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. She transitioned to train in MMA when she joined Jungle MMA in 2009.
Felicia Spencer started her amateur MMA career in 2012. After winning the first “Tuff-N-Uff Future Stars of MMA” tournament where she submitted Leanne Foster and knocked out Jessica Eve Richer at the second “Tuff-N-Uff Xtreme”, amassing a record of 5–1.
In 2015, she turned professional and signed with Invicta FC. Felicia Spencer made her promotional debut on September 12, 2015, at Invicta FC 14: Evinger vs. Kianzad against Rachel Wiley. She won the fight via a TKO in round one. She recorded 5 more wins during her career at Invicta – Madison McElhaney (unanimous decision), Amy Coleman (submission in Round 1), Akeela Al-Hameed (unanimous decision), Helena Kolesnyk (submission in Round 2), and Pam Sorenson (submission in Round 4).
Felicia Spencer signed with the UFC in March 2019. Her promotional debut was on May 18, 2019, at UFC Fight Night: dos Anjos vs. Lee against Megan Anderson. She won the fight in the first round by rear-naked choke. Her second match was versus Cristiane Justino (better known as Cris Cyborg) and lost by unanimous decision. After that recorded one win versus Zarah Fairn dos Santos and one loss from Amanda Nunes.
