Ilara Joanne is an MMA fighter from Brazil, who competes in the flyweight division of Bellator. She has a personal MMA record of 9-5-0 (W-L-D).
Ilara Joanne was born on June 6, 1994, in Fortaleza, Ceara, Brazil. She started training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu reaching a purple belt, before turning to MMA.
Ilara Joanne made the professional MMA debut on August 8, 2013, at Ox MMA event, losing the fight versus Viviane Pereira by TKO in Round 2. Same year, she had another professional fight at Bitetti Combat 18 versus Priscila de Souza, but registered another loss by armbar submission in Round 2.
On June 7, 2014, Ilara Joanne recorded her first professional MMA win versus Yelka Torres Gallegos at Bitetti Combat 20. She won by TKO in Round 1.
In 2015, Ilara Joanne achieved pretty good results, winning all her three pro fights – versus Regina Pereira at Limo Fight 15 – LFC Fortaleza (by rear-naked choke submission in Round 1), versus Elisangela Thuane Goncalves at Ultimate Sanda Fighter (by TKO in Round 1), and versus Julia Borisova at XFC International 11 (by TKO in Round 1). She significantly improved her fight and started performing better with everything fight.
Next year, Ilara Joanne registered two more wins – versus Maria Mendes at 1° Round Combat (by rear-naked choke submission in Round 1) and Laisa Coimbra at Katana Fight (by TKO in Round 1).
On August 5, 2017, Bianca Daimoni ended the winning streak of Ilara Joanne, after beating her at Katana Fight – Gold Edition by unanimous decision. In November 2017, Ilara Joanne registered another loss at Katana Fight – Birthday Edition from Fernanda Barbosa by split decision. Later the same year, she won her fight versus Erika Sousa at Action Fight 7 by unanimous decision.
In 2018, Ilara Joanne has only one fight, winning versus Cristiane Lima Silva at Grand Fighting Championship 63 by unanimous decision.
In 2019, Ilara Joanne announced signing with Bellator. On October 25, she made her debut, winning the fight versus Bec Rawlings at Bellator 231 by kneebar submission. On December 9, 2019, she lost her fight versus Kana Watanabe at Bellator 237 by TKO in Round 3.
