Katerina Shakalova is a Ukrainian MMA fighter, who competes in the Bantamweight division. She is a former grappler, being three times Grappling World Champion, as well as four times European Champion. Her professional MMA record is 6-1-0 (W-L-D).
Katerina Shakalova was born on August 31, 1997, in Donetsk, Ukraine. She started training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and grappling. Later she turned to the MMA.
Katerina Shakalova made her professional MMA debut on June 29, 2019, at WWFC. She fought versus Anna Bidenko, winning by guillotine choke submission in Round 2. In November 2019, she took part in World Warriors Fighting Championship 16 event, registering her only loss from Daria Chibisova by triangle choke submission in Round 1.
On June 18, 2020, she fought at Pankration Challenge Pro 5 versus Zoya Litvinenko, winning by TKO in Round 1. A few months later, on November 27, she took part at Madabattle Martial Arts Festival 2, winning her fight versus Marina Stakhalskaya by armbar submission.
In 2021, she had three more fights, extending her winning series. Katerina Shakalova won versus Roza Gumienna at Babilon MMA 19 (by unanimous decision), Izabela Badurek at FEN 33 (by unanimous decision), and Jamila Sandora at FEN 34 (by rear-naked choke submission).
