Leah McCourt is an Irish MMA fighter, who competes at the Featherweight division of Bellator. She is a former IMMAF World and European Amateur champion and International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation gold medallist. She is also a black belt in Judo. Leah McCourt has a personal MMA record of 4-1-0 (W-L-D).
Leah McCourt became IMMAF amateur world champion in Las Vegas back in 2016, adding to the other titles she claimed during the early stages of her career.
Leah McCourt made her professional MMA debut on June 24, 2017, versus Rizlen Zouak at Cage Warriors Fighting Championship 85. However, she lost by TKO in Round 2.
On June 16, 2018, she took part at Cage Warriors 94 and won her fight versus Manon Fiorot by a split decision.
Following her good performance, Leah McCourt was awarded with a contract by Bellator. She debuted on February 3, 2019, at Bellator 217 and won the first versus Hatice Ozyurt by TKO in Round 1. In September 2019, she won her fight versus Kerry Hughes at Bellator 227 by rear-naked choke submission in Round 1.
On February 22, 2020, Leah McCourt won her fight versus Judith Ruis at Bellator 240 in Dublin, by unanimous decision.
