Marina Mokhnatkina is a Russian sambo competitor and mixed martial artist (MMA). She is a six-time world champion, two-time European champion in sambo, as well as an eight-time Russian champion. Marina Mokhnatkina has signed with leading MMA promotion Bellator to fight in the women’s featherweight division.
Marina Mokhnatkina was born on May 12, 1988, in Perm, Russia. She started training sambo and wrestling at an early age.
Marina Mokhnatkina made her professional MMA debut on June 17, 2016. She fought versus Ekaterina Torbeeva at EFN 50, winning by armbar submission. Her second fight was at EFN – Fight Nights Global 53, winning versus Karina Vasilenko by achiless lock submission in the first round.
On June 30, 2017, she took part in the Fight Nights Global 69 event, where faced Irina Degtyareva. She won the fight by armbar submission in the first round. Marina Mokhnatkina registered another won at Fight Nights Global 81 versus Karine Silva to extend her unbeaten series. However, she registered her first loss at Fight Nights Global 83 versus Liana Jojua.
Marina Mokhnatkina debuted in Bellator on March 29, 2019. She took part in Bellator 219 event but lost from Janay Harding by unanimous decision.
