Vanessa Demopoulos was born on September 22, 1988, in Columbus, Ohio. She started training kickboxing quite late. In an interview, Vanessa Demopoulos shares that she found kickboxing through pole dancing. She’s been an exotic entertainer for 11 years. However, after started practicing kickboxing she loved the fighting and also extended her abilities in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, where she is a purple belt.
Vanessa Demopoulos made her MMA debut at Iron Tiger Fight Series / Alliance MMA – IT Fight Series 79 on December 15, 2017. She fought versus Emme Weber, winning by armbar submission. Her second fight was at LFA 52 – Rodriguez vs. Gutierrez on October 19, 2018, losing from Itzel Esquivel by unanimous decision.
After that, Vanessa Demopoulos made a fantastic series of 4 consecutive wins in the LFA – versus Valerie Soto (majority decision), Nadine Mandiau (armbar submission), Lovethpatra Young (unanimous decision), and Sam Hughes (inverted triangle choke technical submission). Following the great series at LFA, she participated at Dana White’s Contender Series – Contender Series 2020: Week 2 on August 11, 2020, where lost from Cory McKenna by unanimous decision.
On October 30, 2020, Vanessa Demopoulos fought on LFA 94, where lost from Lupita Godinez by majority decision.
